量子色力学とは，QCDおよびLQCDをひとまとめにした分野

QCDは，素粒子物理学の重要な一分野。

しかしQCDの解を解析的に求めることは非常に難しく，「摂動」も利用できない。

かわりに，離散的なシミュレーションとしてコンピュータによる計算が行なわれる。

これを格子量子色力学（LQCD）という。

素粒子物理学のテキストで「強い力」を学ぶ際には，

QCDとLQCDをまとめて考える。

さらにQCDは，電弱理論とあわせて統一理論を構成し，

まとめて「場の量子論」という枠組みの中で語られることが多い。
